Welcome returning and new hikers. Here are a few tips to help navigate our site & help you make the most of your page:
Build a Team! Ask your friends, family and colleagues to join you!
For Page Name, if you are part of a team, please register using this format Team Name - First Name Last Name. This will help us keep track of your team's fundraising totals(e.g. Happy Hospice Hikers - Jane Doe).
Use a compelling, good-quality image - ideally one of you Hiking or with you and the person you are hiking for - images are powerful!
If you have a video, include it too!
For Deadline, choose June 1st, that way if you have donations come in after Hike Day they can still be counted towards your fundraising total.
For Goal, set an achievable personal fundraising goal and when you are close to achieving it, stretch it a little higher. Please enter a number only - no $ or , needed.
In Compose an epic... Tell your WHY! Why you support Hospice Care Ottawa and why you need their help to get you towards your goal.
Make your first donation yourself to demonstrate your belief in the cause as well.
