Hello, I will be participating in the annual Hike for Hospice taking place at Britannia Park in Ottawa on May 4.
Hospice Care Ottawa offers quality palliative care for patients and families and supports them along their end-of-life journey. Palliative care in Ontario's hospices is provided free to those who need it, but the provincial government covers only 60% of the costs.
As a member of the Happy Hiker's team along with Kate Schissler and Peggy Robinson, I am raising funds to help fund Hospice Care Ottawa. Please consider making a donation to me or our team to support this very worthy cause.
